Many of you might be wondering why I am writing about this subject.  Yes, it is an odd topic to talk about for a blogger like me.  I guess it comes from a serious desire to be rich.  I always try to hide this fact, but truly, how many people can say that they do not desire to be rich at least on some level?  Many of us dream of what we would do if we had a bunch of money.  Pesonally, I would probably be one of those people who gives away all of my money.  Yes, I am just one of those kinds of people.  I love to give my money away.  This is probably why I have very little money right now.

So, what would you do if you had a nice home, and happened to get quite a bit of money?  You might choose to build a pool, or perhaps a sun room.  Sun rooms are a great way to bring more light into your house, and also a great place to put plants, if you have many of them, so that they can get some good sunlight.

Some may wonder what is all involved in creating a sun room.  After all, it would be an entire room being added to your house.  It is a great undertaking, and many people will want to know exactly what is happening to their house.  Sun rooms often have aluminum roofs.  Partially this is because it costs less than putting the usual type of roof on a house.  However, aluminum roofs may not be the best choice, since they are noisy when it rains, they get hot in the summer, and cold in the winter.

I had never heard of this before, but someone once mentioned to me to use architectural glazing, which, I guess, is supposed to make both the walls and glass appear nice and shiny.  This would be nice to finish off the sun room, but of course the most important thing is to make sure the sun room is adequate to use rather than how pretty it could be.  Well, I guess I prefer efficiency over appearance.

However, since a sun room is something of an add on to your already existing house, I suppose it is nice to make it look at least somewhat fancy.  Because of this, you may want some fancy canopy covers.  They will help add some beauty to your house and some protection as well.  This will provide some nice shade in case you might want to sit out in your new sun room and have some guests.

Yes, it would be nice to be able to afford all of this.  Perhaps when I am rich I will go for this awesome sun room idea.  However, I still need to be able to afford a house first.  But for those of you who are already rich, you will be able to have several sun rooms!  If anyone has any suggestions for other things needed in sun rooms, leave us a comment.

There are many things which people need to do to plan for the future.  People who are older need to think about what they will leave behind.  Those who are younger need to save up money to leave something for their family in the future.  Sometimes it is difficult to do this, especially when we are taught to buy everything we can now by the media in things like ads and our culture.

For most of us, it is difficult enough to afford what we have today.  Planning for the future may be too monumental to think about.  Not only is it hard enough to plan for the future, but many people hold two or three jobs which forces us to work too hard to even think about putting a little money aside.  We all have bills to pay, rent to pay, auto insurance, and utilities bills.

It is also preferable that the stock should be worth less than $30 each.  This is because very few which are worth more than that ever double, triple, or quadruple within a year.  Also, most stocks will double, triple, or quadruple within three to four months.  After you have found stocks with these qualifications, the next thing you need to look at to narrow down the stocks, is the current price.  If the current price is low, then now could possibly be a good time to buy the stock, however, to make sure this is the perfect time to buy the stock, you want to make sure the stock went up the previous day.  The reason for this, is to make sure that the stock will not continue to go down.  You want the stock to go up so you know it is healthy and the company is not going to die on you.

For 150 years hydrogen fuel cells have existed, but scientist have not really been able to make fuel cells come down in size enough to become a practical, everyday life application.  The major application which would be perfect for fuel cells would be to put them into cars for all of us.  But, there is a huge problem with this, mainly that whatever energy a fuel cell gives the car, it needs to get back from somewhere in order to be recharged.

That means that in order to work, a fuel cell needs to be recharged by something like an anti-fuel cell.  A fuel cell works by bringing hydrogen and oxygen together to form water.  Now, oxygen is plentiful in our air, but finding and holding the hydrogen is another matter.  Until recently Hydrogen had to be held in tanks similar to those you see at fairs to blow up balloons, or oxygen tanks divers use to go under water.  But now, the Israelis have figured out a new technique to hold the hydrogen which will take up much less space, and be much lighter in weight.

However, I still believe that there is a huge problem to implement this great new technology into cars, namely figuring out a way to recharge these fuel cells.  Many places in Europe have these Hydrogen fueling stations which recharge the hydrogen fuel cells in cars, but it takes roughly the same amount of energy to refuel as was expended, making it still a very expensive and questionable endeavor here in the United States.

In the United States it is far more cost effective to use electric-gas hybrids.  However, these hybrids are not going to completely get rid of all the pollution we are putting out today, so I have no doubt that eventually we will have to transition to hydrogen fuel cells, or all electric as soon as they can perfect these technologies.

It has been a long time since I went to school.  Honestly, I really do not miss it.  By the time I reached the second year in high school, I could not wait to get out.  And yet, I went all the way through getting a Bachelor’s degree.  That means six more years of school which I suffered through just to get a degree.  Personally I think going to the library and studying the books in the library is a much more effective method, plus you would not need to pay so much money for a college degree.

So, what do you remember most about school?  Perhaps you remember your teachers, or a favorite teacher, or a favorite class.   Maybe you remember your friends.  But the one thing you probably never paid attention to were the lockers, and yet lockers are one of the things you used the most when you went to school.  We all depended upon our school locker for holding our books, backpacks, Jackets, boots, and much more!

Air travel has been halted across Europe because of a volcano spouting ash in Iceland.  There have been many volcanoes erupting within just the past few months, making it a rare sign that something serious might be going on around the world.

Some people might think that these volcanic eruptions might be the sign that the world is coming to an end, or that these eruptions are a sign as to the terrible way we have treated this planet with all of the pollution.

So, are these the end days as so many people fear?  Well, yesterday was an earthquake, today was not only a volcano erupting, but apparently there was also meteors coming down from the sky in Iowa.  Now, one has to ask themselves what is going on.  The prophecy about the end times throughout all religions, not just Christianity, but all of them, have all predicted certain things happening before earth becomes totally unrecognizable compared to what we know it today.

Some of the key signs are things like earthquakes, volcanoes, and meteors “raining fire from the sky”, so it is no wonder why people see what is happening in the world today and see that the end of the world is coming.

Let us look at some of the predictions which tie into these end-time prophecies.  One of the things which is being carefully looked at in recent times is the Mayan calendar which is supposed to end on December 21st, 2012.  Now, I of course have some objections to this because the mayan calendar, while being amazing in the fact that the Mayans understood the idea of time being cyclical, rather than linear (like most of our calendars today), their calendar can not be exactly equated to our own, and it therefore becomes difficult to know precisely the end date for the Mayan calendar.  To put an exact end date on when earth will be destroyed or perhaps altered extremely, would make life not worth living.  You would know when it is all going to end, and you would just want to stop living life and wait for the inevitable distruction.  That of course, is no way to live.

So, what has been predicted might happen by this 2012 end date?  There are several predictions made by people.  One of them is that the Earth’s poles will shift dramatically, possibly so much that the current North pole will become or South pole and vice-versa.  Another great prediction is that there is a tenth planet that was revealed many years ago which goes around our solar system named Planet X.  This planet has a very long, elliptical orbit which means it only comes close to our inner solar system every so many years and is supposed to come into our vicinity around the year 2012 and will collide with earth.  Supposedly this Planet X is what collided with the astroid belt which used to be a planet, but is now a bunch of rock debris, which is what makes up the asteroid belt.

So, now you might be asking yourself what this all has to do with earthquakes, volcanoes, and meteors falling from the sky.  Well, all of these things are supposed to happen before the 2012 date… interesting isn’t it?  Here it is 2010, and these things are starting to occur with more frequency.

Whatever the case may be, whatever the end may entail, I have a feeling we won’t have to wait long to find out what happens.  Tell us what you think will happen.  Leave a comment!

Many people today are turning to new medical remedies since our western medicine does not always have the best uses, and often has terrible side-affects.  People also are trying much harder to eat a healthy diet and organic foods, since it is obvious that the pesticides put on fruits and vegetables are not only poisonous to the insects which they are supposed to be repelling, but also to humans.

One of the new things in herbal medicine is the discovery that oregano oil is a great way to fight off infections.  Oregano oil is also great for promoting digestive health.  So, whenever you are sick, you might want to pick up some oregano oil.

There was another earthquake, this time in China.  All of these earthquakes happening so often makes me (and probably many other people) wonder about the future of this planet.

Earthquakes are of course caused when ti-tonic plates rub up against each other and this rubbing produces shaking around the area that has shifted.  These can be near mountain ranges, or specific fault lines such as the famous San Andrea’s faults in California.  Another place where earthquake activity can occur is in the ocean.  Our planet is over 70% ocean and many volcanoes are actually beneath the surface of the ocean.  The infamous “ring of fire” is a good example of this.

In China though, mostly seem to be mountain ranges, so I suspect that the rubbing of these mountains together may be the cause of what happened in China.  This of course does not bother me.  What bothers me is the frequency of the earthquakes recently.

Now, this could be due to the fact that the world is becoming more and more interconnected.  Only because of things like television and internet have we recently been able to access everything that is happening throughout the world.  What we know now is much more than we knew before.  But, how many occurrences did we not know of before?  We will never know, since they probably were never recorded, or if they were, the public did not know about them.

However, many say that the earthquake occurrences are much more than before, and if this is the case, we have to ask why.  If there is a reason that we can figure out, maybe we can prevent it.  But it is quite possible that we will not be able to prevent it since we still know very little about earthquakes themselves, and as far as I know of, we do not have the technology to stop them.

Everyone is interconnected.  Whether it be through computers, cell phones television, or even radio, everyone can know in a matter of seconds what is going on half-way across the world.

Building such networks is an important networking tool and helps us plan for the future.  However, many people still do not speak each other’s languages.  This can be a serious set back when communicating on any level.  So, what should you do in a circumstance like this?  If you are a big business, you might hire someone from a translation service agency.  Of course that can be expensive.

If you are a small business, you certainly can not afford hiring translators.  You need something fast and inexpensive.  Now, a big business would probably want an inexpensive way to translate their information also, so the large corporations are probably doing some hunting around to see which ones are the best.  You should too.

Translation is a huge industry today even for the government which of course needs to know many languages in order to keep up with what is going on in other countries.  This way the government can monitor what all the other countries are doing and be prepared in case someone moves against us or one of our allies.  This was especially evident after the attack on Sept. 11, 2001.

This not only shows how much we all need translation services, but also shows how interconnected our entire world is becoming.  Many believe that English will eventually be the dominant language on the planet, but until that time, we will always need someone to translate for us.
