BloggingOver the past fifteen years or so, many “Credit Repair Companies” or “Credit Clinics” have opened up across the nation. Their main purpose is to help the individual remove incorrect and negative items from their credit report. Unfortunately, some of these outfits are scams from the word “GO” and have given the whole industry a bad name. They take the consumer’s money and then tell them it will take month s to get results, then disappear without a trace. With the information we have provided you with here, you have no need to take that chance. If, however, you decide to hire one of these companies, check them out! First, if the sales person or company uses the word “Guarantee” or “Delete”, Run and don’t look back! There is no way to “Guarantee” that ANYTHING will be removed from the credit report! Think about it for a minute. Unless he or she is going to “hack” into the credit bureau’s computer, how can he guarantee anything? The Clinic is NOT the one that “deletes” the information! Ask to see their license, get a copy of it, and then contact your State’s Secretary of State to make sure that the company has obtained and maintained the necessary license and/or bond.
In the State of Nebraska all companies, organizations, or individuals that provide credit services MUST (with NO exceptions) obtain a “Credit Services Organization License”. If they charge a fee BEFORE they provide the services they promise, they MUST also maintain a $100,000 Surety Bond for TWO YEARS after they cease doing business in the state. While you are on the phone with the Secretary of State’s office, ask if there have been any unresolved complaints against the company. Find out how long they have had their license as well.

BloggingAs we approach the holiday season, it appears that stress seem to go up. A good way to eliminate stress through exercise. Any type will help. I coach my kids soccer teams, so that definitely helps. Even just getting on a bike and riding for a 20-30 minutes can do the trick. If you spend a lot of time on the PC like I do, you need to take a break every 30-45 minutes, walk outside, or just get away from the monitor. This will also help your energy level if you are working on a project that requires you to be in front of your PC.

BloggingA lot of good choices out there for people that are searching for a new credit card these days, but one website out there let’s you easily compare all the companies. The lenders are very competitive out there for your business, so now is a good time to get a credit card or a new one if you have one already. You can use a rating website like Credit Card Comparison sites to find which credit cards would give you the best deals on balance transfers. This is a good way to get out of a higher interest bracket and into a lower one, by transferring your old credit card balance onto a new credit card.Balance Transfer Credit Cards is nothing new and smart people have been doing this for a long time. It only makes sense to swap your owed balance around if you can pay a lower interest rate on it. So this is one good way to judge which credit card might be best for you. You can break down a lot of other things like interest rates and cash back rewards to determine who has the best credit card for you. If you take a little time and go through all the big credit card issuers like Capital One, American Express, Discover, and, Chase you will feel comfortable with your final decision and know you got one of the best credit cards out there that was right for you!

BloggingRecently my parents had their old reel to reel converted to VHS. They asked me if I could then take the content and covert of digital and edit some of the footage, to take out some of the longer footage, of where the camera was left running. I was able to use some editing software and cut it down a bit, but did not realize the shear size of this video would take on my Hard Drive. So I had to try and do it in segements. I searched the internet and found 100’s of recommendations on the best way to edit over old movies to DVD, but still experimenting.

BloggingI just finished reading, Now, Discover your strengths, and can say that this is a must read for all those who manage people. There is a special website and code on the back of the book cover that will allow you to take a simple test to discover your strengths, and then how to hone and sharpen those strengths. The basic premise is that we need to focus and continually improve the strengths, not focus on how to improve a persons weaknesses. The great benefit I found is that it gives you the different types of profiles and how to manage to those people.

BloggingCompanies today rely on digital libraries to get stock images for their print and online campaigns. I have noticed this on a few sites, and while it makes sense, it does seem odd that they would be able to know how often and where an image may appear. Such an occurrence happened to competing banks. Bank of America and Citiigroup both were running ads about their refinance and mortgage division.
The cost of obtaining exclusive images can be quite expensive, considering the cost of location and people can add up to over $10K. This is why more and more companies are relying on these digital libraries where the stock images can be had for as little as a $1.With approx. billions of websites online, there is certainly a lot of duplication. Speed is essential to getting campaigns online and using this feature cuts their production time by days.

We recently started to research new ways in which to enhance our traffic and readership here at Machini Matrix. One very simple and easy way was to write articles similar to what we do here on our blog, but tailor them to a broader audience and have them submitted to various article distribution sites. What they do is publish your articles for other interested web masters to post on their sites for new and fresh content with links back to your blog or website with you as the owner. It has been a growing process but so far we have been picked up by 25 different sites in the last week. We have made the process even easier by investing in software that will allow us to submit our articles to over 160 various high ranking article sites. We will be creating some additional content as well as a resource to some PR 5,6, and 7 article sites that will help you get exposure. If you need them before our next write up on this subject, just leave us a comment and we will get back to you.

BloggingI just the news release that the Seattle Mariners signed Ichiro to contract extension worth $100 million dollars. I am not sure how you arrive at a fair market value for a particular position in baseball, but $100 million dollars. Now don’t get me wrong Ichiro is a great baseball player and this was evident by his performance in the 2007 All-Star game. But they are paying some one a lot of money that only hits the ball 3 out 10 times at the plate. If you or I were only 30% productive at work we may not have a job. I guess I should have stuck with baseball when I was a kid.

For many Americans eating right and keeping within their idea body weight is difficult. We are a society of fast food and high carb intake. So to try and diet without changing the way you eat can be a huge task. There are hundreds of diet and weight loss programs out there and each one depends on your situation on how well you will respond. The key to any diet plan is to stick with it and exercise. With the new launch of Alli by GSK, they have introduced and over the counter weight loss pill that was originally by prescription only. And this marks one of the first times that such a switch from prescription to over the counter has there been such a huge push to the consumer. What most people need to realize is that a pill will not help you loose weight by itself. You may see some short term results, but your overall health and well being will not change unless you take steps to make those changes permanently.

BloggingIn the world of link exchange there are a number of ways in which to enhance your back links as well as increase your Page Rank and search engine visibility. One of the best ways is to have others link back to your site or blog because of a featured article or product that you sell. There are so called link farms which have a mixed review based on the techniques that are used. Google’s algorithms apparently give a higher weighting to those links that are embedded in a site as they are typically hand entered and they see this as a vote of confidence. At blog we just found focused on tax refund they provide a great list of sites where you can obtain back links by just reviewing their sites. Check them out today and see which site may be of interest to you.
