Has anyone seen the latest thing that Steven Hawking said about what would happen if aliens came to earth?  I hate to say this, but it seems odd to me that someone of such great intelligence would make such a stupid comment.  He told us that if aliens came to our planet, that it would be as it was when the Europeans came to America and destroyed the Native American people.

While I agree that aliens would be completely more powerful than us, and have the ability to do whatever they want with us, to presume that aliens would wish to invade, or have some kind of control over us is to presume that we know how aliens think.  Aliens being interested in conquering our planet is like a human wishing to conquer and control an ant hill.

Of course there are some humans I suppose who do wish to “try” and control ant hills… my father is one of them.  I still remember him constantly ruing the ant hills, claiming that if he ruined them, the ants would build houses elsewhere.  I am sure my father is not the only one to do this.  But this kind of destruction shows the absolute need for control.

Now, I suppose the aliens might want some kind of crazy, ultimate control like this, but if what we have seen from alien behavior in the past is any kind of guide, it is quite obvious to me, and probably to many others, that none of us truly knows or understands what an aliens motives might be.  But I have a feeling that if they really wanted absolute control, they would have attacked us already.

I have my own ideas of what the aliens might want, but I have talked with many others who have their own ideas, which leads me to believe that this is not an open and shut case.  Therefore, for Steven Hawking to think he knows what will happen when aliens land is a bit presumptuous and I do not really think that someone of his intelligence should limit his opinion to only one possibility.

I just got this DVD movie in the mail, and I had never gotten to go see it in the movie theaters so naturally when I got it, I was so excited to watch it.  I had no idea what it even was about, but kept seeing the blue face on all the TV and internet ads and thought, wow that must be a cool movie!  Now, you must be thinking what an odd way to make a judgement about a movie, since I knew nothing about it, but sometimes, people like me just have great instincts.

This two hour and thirty-five minute movie is a clever tale about humans in the not-to-distant future who have found some planet they have named Pandora.  They have found some rock or metal, called unobtainium which is apparently worth a great deal of money.  It also is located underneath one of the largest trees on Pandora which also happens to be the place where a large group of native people of this world lives.

This classic battle between scientists and military personnel as well as a fight between the natives and outsiders is well played out and shows the complexity of such actions and emotions.  The military wish to get the rock the most efficient way possible without thinking about the human factor.  The scientists are stuck in the middle wishing to help the natives, but not knowing how to do so properly, and of course the natives who are willing to fight for their planet, but against insurmountable odds.

Now, I will not tell you how it ends, but I assume you can figure that out for yourself.  But what I will tell you is how beautifully this movie was done.  While it is obvious that the aliens were created by CGI, much of the scenery was so beautiful.  Some of my favorite scenes were of course the floating mountains, scenes when they are flying on the dragon-looking animals, and the night scenes when the whole forest seemed to be lit up and glowing all around them.

This is a movie that I would love to see a sequel to, but unfortunately, it seemed to have a pretty definite end.  Perhaps James Cameron will make another one similar to this one.  It is a beautiful piece of art.

I just saw this movie last night and it disturbed me so much that I even had a dream about it last night.  Now, you might think I had a nightmare about it, but in fact that was not at all what happened.  This movie disturbed me on a completely different level.  I have heard accounts of people being abducted and having medical experiments done on them before.  However this new evidence from Nome, Alaska is very disturbing, because it is obvious that these particular aliens have no respect for us as human beings at all.

This movie is so well done.  It shows you the actual video that was taken in the psychology sessions on one side, and on the other side, the actors re-enacting the session, and I assure you this is some of the best documented stuff I have seen as evidence that these aliens are actually coming and taking people.  This is perhaps what is so freighting.  Most of the time with alien abductions, there is so much lack of evidence that it is easy to just put it aside and say “oh that’s not real” and go on with our lives.  But this movie shows that this phenomenon is real.

Here comes the disturbing part that no one is going to like.  When these people were put under hypnosis, this accesses some device that the aliens had apparently put there.  What happened when the device was accessed?  Well, the aliens could talk through the people, and they seemed to speak in the ancient Sumerian language.  Now, what is interesting is this is not only an ancient language, but also a language that very few people know any more, only a few archeologist I am sure, and yet here these people were speaking this language in their hypnosis sessions.

Of course, this is not the only thing that happened in the session.  If it was, it would be far from unusual.  There were plenty of other things which were shown in each of these sessions which would qualify as unusual behavior.  When the aliens would speak through these people, they would levitate off of the beds or couches that they were laying on.  Then, their backs would stretch back and they would be forced to open their mouth so far that their jaw would disconnect from their mouth and be hanging down.  Their backs would stretch so much that they apparently were disconnected at the 2nd or 3rd vertebrae, and would be dead after the alien was finished speaking through them.

This is a gruesome thing to have happen.  When I saw these tapes, I could not believe it.  Not that I didn’t think it happened, but my mind was on how these aliens could be interfering with our lives like this.  These aliens had to be the evil sort, thinking that they had the right to do whatever they want with us.  Also, this levitation that was done with the human’s bodies in the session, reminds me of the old exorcisms which used to be performed, and how demons used to levitate human bodies when they were “possessed”.  Is it possible that these same aliens were controlling people back then too?

If so, then this proves to me that the only way to get rid of them is to pray to God to have strength to defeat these aliens.  We really must do this, unless we want these aliens to continue to mess with our lives.  Fighting back does not work, because the aliens have a great deal more physical power than us.  The only thing that will work is knowing the power of God and using that to defend ourselves.

There is one woman I have seen, she had been abducted multiple times.  Finally she had had enough.  She told the aliens to leave her alone.  The first time she tried this, it did not work of course because she did not call for God to help her.  But the second time she called for God’s help, and you know what happened?  Beings of white light came into her room and literally through out the aliens who were abducting her.

So, if you are a person who is being abducted, you must use this strategy.  These aliens are intelligent enough to know about us and our biology without needing to abduct us.  They only abduct us to manipulate or try to control us, and thereby gain power over us.  This is an evil desire, not good from the aliens who are abducting people.  But if you call upon God, they will be removed.

Air travel has been halted across Europe because of a volcano spouting ash in Iceland.  There have been many volcanoes erupting within just the past few months, making it a rare sign that something serious might be going on around the world.

Some people might think that these volcanic eruptions might be the sign that the world is coming to an end, or that these eruptions are a sign as to the terrible way we have treated this planet with all of the pollution.

So, are these the end days as so many people fear?  Well, yesterday was an earthquake, today was not only a volcano erupting, but apparently there was also meteors coming down from the sky in Iowa.  Now, one has to ask themselves what is going on.  The prophecy about the end times throughout all religions, not just Christianity, but all of them, have all predicted certain things happening before earth becomes totally unrecognizable compared to what we know it today.

Some of the key signs are things like earthquakes, volcanoes, and meteors “raining fire from the sky”, so it is no wonder why people see what is happening in the world today and see that the end of the world is coming.

Let us look at some of the predictions which tie into these end-time prophecies.  One of the things which is being carefully looked at in recent times is the Mayan calendar which is supposed to end on December 21st, 2012.  Now, I of course have some objections to this because the mayan calendar, while being amazing in the fact that the Mayans understood the idea of time being cyclical, rather than linear (like most of our calendars today), their calendar can not be exactly equated to our own, and it therefore becomes difficult to know precisely the end date for the Mayan calendar.  To put an exact end date on when earth will be destroyed or perhaps altered extremely, would make life not worth living.  You would know when it is all going to end, and you would just want to stop living life and wait for the inevitable distruction.  That of course, is no way to live.

So, what has been predicted might happen by this 2012 end date?  There are several predictions made by people.  One of them is that the Earth’s poles will shift dramatically, possibly so much that the current North pole will become or South pole and vice-versa.  Another great prediction is that there is a tenth planet that was revealed many years ago which goes around our solar system named Planet X.  This planet has a very long, elliptical orbit which means it only comes close to our inner solar system every so many years and is supposed to come into our vicinity around the year 2012 and will collide with earth.  Supposedly this Planet X is what collided with the astroid belt which used to be a planet, but is now a bunch of rock debris, which is what makes up the asteroid belt.

So, now you might be asking yourself what this all has to do with earthquakes, volcanoes, and meteors falling from the sky.  Well, all of these things are supposed to happen before the 2012 date… interesting isn’t it?  Here it is 2010, and these things are starting to occur with more frequency.

Whatever the case may be, whatever the end may entail, I have a feeling we won’t have to wait long to find out what happens.  Tell us what you think will happen.  Leave a comment!

Wow, when I woke up today, this is what I saw on the news on the internet.  What a shock, it missed us by 50,000 miles.  In astronomical terms that is so close!

Now, I know that there are many people out there who may believe in end-times prophecy, maybe you are one of them, but I would have to say that even those who do not, got a huge shock when they saw this in the news.  Most people would wonder what if it hit right here near me, then what would become of us?

Two major movie which have asked this question are: “Deep Impact” and “Asteroid”.  These two movies explored how one asteroid could wipe out an entire civilization and how we would respond to this type of threat.

Do we have enough technology to avoid this kind of problem?  Well, personally I think this may have been one of the many reasons Reagan made the “Star Wars” program, though, of course it is completely classified as to what exactly went into that program, I believe that part of it may have been some kind of outer-space defense mechanism.

Many people have probably heard of the 2012 prophecies.  The Mayan calendar ends on Dec. 21, 2012.  How it will end however, is quite a mystery.  Will it be an asteroid, or even Planet X colliding into Earth?  Or will the poles shift?  No one knows.  But the Bible did say that at the end of days, there would be earthquakes and fire raining down from the sky.  Is this maybe the sign of what is happening now?  Tell us what you think.
