Do you like contests and sweepstakes where you can win lots of money? I know I like to enter everything under the sun, that I can enter for free and have the chance to win a lot of money. I know Publishers Clearing House is one of the leaders in the sweepstakes area, but I just wonder how much of a chance I have to win. It’s so popular, so you know a lot of people enter it each year. I would guess that about 80 or 90 percent of all U.S. households get their letters in their mailboxes. I assume a huge portion of those households send them back in and try to win all that money they are giving away.

Now the contest says you don’t have to purchase anything to win. I always wondered just how much of that is true. They send out information for people to get subscriptions from magazines. It is interesting now that you can get free magazines by mail over the internet yet you may not have that golden chance to be entered into the drawing. Unlike some of these sweepstakes offers where I think most of these are free and you will get some free magazines, but if you don’t cancel your subscription, they continue to ship you these magazines and you’re left paying for them. I never get the magazines, but I have filled out a bunch of those entries for Publishers Clearing House. So far they haven’t come to my front door with the TV crew, to give me all that money they are giving away. I guess I will continue to send back my entries, but I think I would have better luck in the lottery and the chances there are not that great either.
